Any first time visit to a foreign country can be a bit confusing or daunting for all sorts of reasons, especially to Eastern Europe.
Many, many years ago I had the absolute pleasure of having had the opportunity to visit Kiev in the Ukraine for the first time. I initially did not know what to expect on my arrival in Kiev as this was my first visit to Eastern Europe. What I did find much to my total surprise, is what a lovely country Ukraine is, in every way possible. The people, the country, the food and the hospitality are second to none. As a result of numerous visits to Ukraine I have now made many amazingly good friends and useful business contacts there. I visit Ukraine roughly every 6 - 8 weeks.
