Dnepropetrovsk is an industrial city with more than a million inhabitants. For a long time the city was closed not only for foreigners, but also for the people of the Soviet Union because of the many plants of the military industry. SS-20 Rockets were produces in Dnepropetrovsk. Today only the exposition of the Rocket-Museum reminds of those times.
During the city tour you will have a splendid opportunity to see and to buy the wooden Easter eggs, beautiful treasure-boxes and colorful wooden plates made by the craftsmen of the famous Petrikivka village. Kherson stands high above the Dnipro delta, offering a commanding view out to the Black Sea. Present-day Black Sea Fleet can trace its origins to the first shipyard in Kherson. The city and its surroundings are situated in the famous Tavria Region with its wide steps, gardens, vineyards and cornfields. From Kherson you will be taken to the beautiful delta of the Dnieper river, stopping off en-route at a traditional fishing village. |

Zaporizhia, the land of Cossacks: In the 16th century they had built a fortress on the Khortitsa Island and lived there according to their own laws. You will be told about them in the Cossack Glory Museum. Founded in 1770 it has more that 800 thousand inhabitants, working mostly in energy, iron and the automotive industries. The immense dam of the Dniprogess hydro-electric power station (built in 1932) divides the city in two halves. Magnificent view to the dam and 2 locks is commanded from the Cossack Glory Museum. |

During the city tour our guests would see beautiful constructions in classical style and the symbol of Odessa - Potemkin's stairs (192 steps are divided by 10 landings widen from up to down and it gives optical view: upwards you can see only steps and from top to bottom - plane landings).
