The name of this city - Feodosia - reaches out over more than 26 centuries. Only Feodosia among all the cities of the Northern Black Sea costal region has preserved its antique name. Today's Feodosia is the part of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, the greatest administrative, economic, scientific, cultural and historical center of South-Eastern Crimea, important Black Sea harbour of Ukraine and transport junction and tourist resort. The names of many prominent people are connected with Feodosia.
